Small Steps... Small Goals...

Life can be overwhelming. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you do for a living, whether you have children, or whether you’re rich or poor—sometimes things happen. Life happens, and suddenly you need to make it all feel a bit smaller. One step at a time. And that’s okay.



We give ourselves such a hard time, asking: Am I good enough? Why am I like this? Why do I think this way? Why do I feel this way? I don’t want to go out. I can’t go out. I feel trapped. I feel sad. I don’t know what to do…


I’ve felt like this too. Sometimes I still do. It’s hard—but talking things through with someone and breaking it down can really help. Having small goals, taking little steps—one after another—can be the path to climbing that mountain and eventually reaching the top.
